Revit simple line based detail

For detailing in elevation for studs  and framing etc to achieve this without having to sketch :

Starting with a Detail line based template in the family editor

Draw simple trapezoidal geometry locked to the template line length parameter and also give it a width parameter. Load to check it inserts in a view following the line defined by two picks.

Where the detail object needs to have angled ends (as the view above) set two ref lines locked to the insert point and other end (align>pick ref planes then tab on the ref line end to get a blob symbol then lock). Add an angle param to the ref line and check it flexes properly. Then just align>lock the object end lines to the ref lines. Check - load - flex again

You can then add a region over this geometry again locking the region sketch to the 4 lines.

In the project just duplicate and rename for all different end conditions
