Open the Character Map  system, copy clip and paste into the leader text box  (Start button type in CHARMAP

REVIT COMPOUND ROOFS

1. Put a roof on walls (Roof by Footprint)- turn off all slopes (select edges and uncheck on Options Bar)
2. In plan put on RP's for slope change points
3. Pick the roof and use shape editing to add split lines

Wordpress 3.9 update editor not working

New version just out 2 days ago (16/04/14 I think) and I update one of my sites straightaway.

Looks like lots of users are reporting the same issue of update - both the visual and text editors are greyed out and completely inaccessible

Revit using split wall in phases

One of  Revits drawbacks is the difficultly and intricacy in phasing partial demolition and additions / reconstruction of existing small and residential buildings. Particularly where the existing model elements such as walls and roofs are neatly joined up and trimmed and you dont want to loose this. The existing phase needs to show correctly after new phases have been added and parts demolished.
